Mark B. Hill, CPA, CA, MPAcc, BMgt
Mark B. Hill is a Chartered Accountant. On his road to obtaining his designation, Mark received a Diploma in Accounting and Strategic Measurement with great distinction from Grant MacEwan College, a Management Degree with distinction from the University of Lethbridge, and a Masters of Professional Accounting from the University of Saskatchewan.
Mark has a unique portfolio of employment experiences which allows him to provide great service as well as great training to his clients. Over the past several years, Mark has had employment related experiences in the following areas: Public Practice, Industry, and University Instructor.
Mark articled with a large national accounting firm and has also had experience working with local accounting firms. During each of these opportunities, Mark spent the vast majority of his time working with small to medium businesses.
Mark was the Chief Financial Officer of a local Oilfield Company. During his time with the company, he was instrumental in the company’s reorganization in order to facilitate a tax deferring and minimizing stock option plan as well as the company’s international expansion.
Mark has been teaching at MacEwan University since January 2012 and has been contracted to teach the following courses:
– Financial Procedures in the Law Office
– Canadian Taxation of Individuals and Corporations
Combining his teaching and work experiences, Mark is in a great position to offer great well rounded service including one of his key services: Trust Audits and Other Trust Related Services.
Mark volunteers both in the community and at the church which he attends. In the past, Mark has also served as the Treasurer of Today’s Innovative Music of Edmonton.
Despite Mark’s scholastic and occupational accomplishments, Mark’s greatest treasure is his family: His wife Marie and his three children Josh, Ben, and Nora.
